Sri Chakra (Sree chakra) represents the goddess in her form of Lalitambika. This Chakra is formed by nine interlocking triangles. The name of each of these triangles in themselves signify the importance of it. Sarvasamkshopanam, Trailokyamohanam, Sarvashaparipoorakam, Sarvarakshakaaram, Sarvaathasadhakam, Sarvarogaharam, Sarvasidhipradham, Sarvanandamayam – these are eight of the nine chakras.
Start the Sri chakra (Sree chakra) Pooja only after seeking advice from a Guru. But anybody can place this inside the house and start worship. The worship should be done by chanting the Lalita Sahasranama and showering Sri Chakra with Kumkum or red fragrant flowers. Placing different types of Sri Chakras in the house will bring in prosperity to the household. The metal on which this is depicted or embossed should be either silver, copper or gold. The best of the three is gold. Lalitambika is the Mother of every god and goddess. And because of this, the Sri Chakra, which is the abode of Lalitambika, carries the divinity of every Hindu deity. Placing this Chakra in the house brings fortune and prosperity to every member of the household.
